Grassroots – Palestine activism in Finland

In early December, Sumud board member Sedeer el-Showk was interviewed by Grassroots, a radio show about grassroots activism. Grassroots is broadcast by IDA, an online radio located in Tallinn & Helsinki.

During the episode, they address a wide range topics, including Finnish colonialism and whiteness, the country’s complicity in the occupation and genocide, and the tension between performative activism and building political consciousness.
