Academic Boycott of Israel – why, how and why now?

On Thursday 12.12. at 16:00-17:00 we are honored to host a lecture in Tampere University main building (room C109) called Academic Boycott of Israel – why, how and why now?

Join us in hearing Sumud’s vice chair and author of the book ‘Israelin Apartheid’. Räsänen will discuss about the involvement of Israeli universities to apartheid and occupation, as well as the background and demands of the academic boycott call, and compare to the academic boycotts of South Africa and Russia.

The lecture will be held in English and is open to everyone, you don’t have to be a Tuni member to take part.
