Gaza Fights For Freedom – film screening

The UN’s day of solidarity with the Palestinian people is on the 29th of November. In light of this, we are hosting a film screening on the 30th of November from 1 PM to 2.30 PM. The screening will be held in the Aine Art Museum’s downstairs auditorium.

The document Gaza Fights for Freedom (dir. Abby Martin) brings to light an important part of Palestine’s modern history, the Gaza Great March of Return demonstrations through the years 2018-2019. The demand was for an end of the Israeli blockade and the right of return for refugees.

After the screening we can discuss the document and the thoughts spurred by it. The Aine Art Museum closes at 3 PM on Saturdays, so we can move from there to a cafe, for example.
