School year cancelled –demonstration in Helsinki
🧑🏽🏫 School year cancelled -demonstration on Children’s rights week 23rd November 15-17 @ Railway square + short march to Kansalaistori
Education is under attack around the world, like in Palestine, Sudan, Afganistan and East Turkestan. Children’s right to learn is under a threat and their schoolyears have been partly or fully cancelled.
📢 We call all people who care about children’s rights, families and organizations that work to support children to join our march and demand rights and future for every child living under oppression!
Bring signs that demand children’s rights such as the right to safety, protection and learning.
🏳️ In this demonstration we will not raise any flags, but national/regional flags can be worn on shoulders.
❌ Racists (including antisemitist or islamophobic), sexist or other discriminative texts and symbols are forbidden.
