Program

5:00–5:30 p.m.: Settle in for the event, get to know each other, and enjoy some treats from the Nedalin family’s baked goods. You’ll also have the opportunity to drop off sponsorship packages to be sent to Lebanon by someone traveling there (space for a total of two kilograms).

5:30 p.m. Sirkku Kivistö will present information sent by BAS Director Kassem Aina regarding the organization’s current staff numbers.

5:35 p.m. Nina Lyytinen will discuss plans for her upcoming training trip in September

5:45 p.m. Discussion of each participant’s personal memories, experiences, and collaboration with Palestinians.

6:00 p.m. Discussion of visits to Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon and pressing issues. Discussion of ideas for continuing the work and forming working groups.
