Meet authors Randa Al-Dawoudi and Saara Särmä! We will discuss the power of storytelling, literature as a bridge between peoples and cultures, and the experiences of Palestinian women.
The newly released book "Women of Gaza - stories nobody has told" is a feminist sensation, which talks about the meaning of occupation, patriarchy, and religious nationalism in Palestine.
"Yet, this book is not only about war. It is about how ordinary women hope, love, and do everything in their power to guard life under impossible circumstances. For the reader, it opens up a rare view of life in Gaza behind news headlines."
