Sumud is looking for an Advocacy Intern for spring 2027

The intern’s main responsibility will be to assist Sumud’s Advocacy Coordinator with a campaign leading up to Finland’s parliamentary elections in April 2027. Tasks will include contacting election candidates, social media communications, and event planning. Other tasks can be agreed upon based on the intern’s skills and interests.
The internship is offered on a full-time basis for three months, from February to April 2027. It is also possible to complete the internship part-time over a longer period. Please indicate your availability and preferred timing in your application.
Our office is located in Helsinki, and employees are expected to work from the office approximately once a week. Otherwise, the work can be done remotely.
We expect applicants to have good teamwork skills, proficiency in Finnish and English, and a commitment to Sumud’s values and principles. An understanding of the situation in Palestine and previous experience in similar roles will be considered an asset.
The salary for full-time work is €1,463 per month. Applicants must have access to a university internship grant or equivalent independent funding.
